I am a 52‑year‑old Israeli artist working primarily in painting and drawing.
I studied at the Johannesburg Art, Ballet, Drama and Music high school, graphic design at AAA, and interior design at Diploma College, and I have worked in the tech world for most of my adult life.
I am currently continuing my painting studies in the studio of the Israeli artist David Boskovich.
This double training - in visual disciplines and in highly structured, technological environments - sits under the work as a tension between control and seepage, systems and bodies, metal and meat.
My practice explores power, vulnerability, and voice, and turns repeatedly to questions of women, faith, and identity within Jewish and Israeli contexts.
My first series, Descent into Inherited Bodies, centers women from Jewish narrative lineages - both the visible figures and those who appear only briefly or anonymously. Through the female body, these paintings move from surface toward interior, tracing inherited stories as they lodge themselves in flesh, memory, and consciousness, and registering a parallel stripping‑back in my own painting language.
